Some places are instantly recognisable. And Venice doesn’t need an introduction.
Few cities carry an identity so effortlessly.
I’ve been here more than once, and perhaps that is why Venice feels less like a place I visit and more like a place I return to. There is something about its quiet beauty, its strange sense of time… the way it seems to exist entirely on its own terms.
One of my favourite cities, always.
