Jeju Island, South Korea
Autumn · Nov 2016

A roadside pause in Jeju, where the wind seems to have plenty of room to roam.
There was something about stopping here in one of our earlier trips that made the island feel especially open — the wide blue sky, the low dark line of the land and wind turbines turning slowly along the horizon. Nothing much was happening, and perhaps that was the point.
For a moment, there was nowhere to be. Just the wind, the sky, and a little stretch of Jeju unfolding quietly in front of me.
